Editorial & Data Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This page documents how Foundgrove sources data, what we will and will not publish, and how we handle corrections. It applies to every page, blog post, and statistic we publish. Everything below describes rules that are already enforced in how this site is built — not aspirations. We publish it because we hold our own content to standards we can point to.

Every statistic carries a named source

Every statistic we publish carries a real, named, linkable source. On our SEO statistics hub, each figure links to the original study or report it came from. If we cannot find a working source for a number, we drop it rather than publish it. This is not a guideline we hope to follow: a build-time check fails our deploy if a numeric claim ships without a citation. We do not invent statistics, round them up in our favor, or attribute figures to unnamed “studies.”

We fail closed on unverified claims

Trust signals on this site default to hidden. Star ratings, review counts, aggregate performance numbers, testimonials, and team credentials appear only once the underlying data is real and verifiable — until then the site renders nothing in their place rather than a fabricated stand-in. Foundgrove is pre-launch, so several of these are intentionally blank right now. Our case studies are labeled as sample strategies: they show how an engagement would be structured, not results for named clients. When we have a real, client-approved case study, we will publish the analytics behind it.

A build-time check blocks fabricated experience

Because we are early, our writing must not imply a track record we do not have. An automated check scans our content before every deploy and blocks phrases that claim owned experience we cannot back up — a roster of past clients, work supposedly proven across dozens of accounts, or an in-house study we never ran. When the check finds one, the copy gets rewritten in honest pre-launch voice. We never weaken the check to let a claim through.

Who writes and reviews our content

Content on this site is written and reviewed by our founder, Hyder Shah (Founder & CEO). We write in a factual, educational voice and describe what our services do — not personal credentials. We do not claim years of experience, certifications, or awards we cannot substantiate. Where a byline or author profile would imply verified expertise we have not yet documented, we leave it off rather than assert it.

Updates and corrections

Articles and pages carry a published or last-updated date so you can judge how current the information is, and we refresh content as search engines, AI platforms, and the underlying data change. We do not back-date or future-date posts to look more active than we are — our build rejects any post dated in the future. If you spot an error — a broken source link, an outdated figure, or a claim you cannot verify — email us at hello@foundgrove.com and we will correct it or remove it. We would rather fix a mistake than defend it.
